Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer
Jørgen Behrens is the Chief Product Officer of HERE. In this role, he is responsible for the evolution and commercial success of all HERE products including content, location services, platform and industry offerings. Jørgen joined HERE from Royal Philips where he founded and led a business focused on medical grade wearable devices and accompanying services for the prevention of chronic diseases.
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Kristina Bohlmann oversees all marketing and communications activities for HERE Technologies. A passionate, energetic and down-to-earth leader, she brings to the role deep experience in both agency and corporate PR for consumer and B2B organizations. She has been a long-time advocate of placing social media at the heart of the company’s communications strategy. Prior to HERE Technologies, she led the communications function for Nokia in Germany.
Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Werner Buskermolen leads the Human Resources team at HERE Technologies. With more than 20 years of HR experience to draw upon, he acts as a senior advisor on all people-related and organizational matters to ensure the talent agenda aligns with the company’s vision in a best-in-class global, inclusive workplace. Prior to HERE, he worked for almost five years at Informatica, the global Enterprise Cloud Data Management company headquartered in Redwood City, California. During his remit there, he held several roles, last as Senior Director HR for EMEA. Before that he worked for over 5 years at NetApp as their Senior Manager Talent Acquisition in EMEA and prior to that he had several consulting roles in the HR domain.
Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer
Denise Doyle oversees Strategy & Data, which includes data sourcing, privacy, content and business models in multiple functions throughout the company. She has two decades of experience in strategy development, business portfolio planning and corporate development across North America, Europe and Asia. She joined NAVTEQ – which later became HERE Technologies – in 1999, developing strategies and leading commercial negotiations on major supplier agreements. She also held business analyst roles at AOL and Miller Brewing Company.
Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer
In his role as Chief Customer Officer, Fred Hessabi is leading the Global Sales & Professional Services team. Fred is responsible for growing HERE’s business and diversifying the customer base globally.
With more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, he brings a wealth of Software- and Platform-as-a-Service sales expertise. Prior to joining HERE, Fred held sales leadership roles at several prominent companies, including C3.ai, SAP and Siebel.
Senior Vice President Development and Chief Technology Officer
Giovanni Lanfranchi is Senior Vice President Development and CTO at HERE Technologies. He steers the venture of HERE Technologies into the next generation of location-based services based on platform-enabled applications and solutions in areas such as autonomous driving, asset management and augmented reality. Lanfranchi joined HERE Technologies from IBM in 2018, where he served as Vice President Global Technology Services and Head of WW Service Delivery Architecture & Technology in charge of the overall IBM Services Platform with Watson.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Petra Meiser is responsible for Corporate Finance, Treasury, Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning and Analysis, Legal, Tax, and Accounting.
Meiser joined HERE in February 2020 from Daimler where her responsibilities ranged from strategic program management and M&A to corporate law and various corporate financial initiatives. At Daimler, she successfully led the program of Project Future, one of the biggest transformation initiatives in Daimler’s history, culminating in the November 2019 launch of a new corporate structure designed to optimally position the company for success in the era of connected and autonomous transportation. Prior to that, Meiser led M&A for Daimler in the Americas, Middle East and Africa and corporate worldwide, and held various other global responsibilities.
Meiser has a degree in business law from the University of Applied Sciences Pforzheim, Germany.
HERE Supervisory Board
The HERE Supervisory Board supports the company’s long-term strategy to become the leading location platform serving multiple industries.
Formed in 2016, the Supervisory Board brings together recognized industry leaders and shareholder representatives to oversee the executive leadership team of HERE Technologies.
Pekka Ala-Pietilä is the Chairman of the Board of packaging company Huhtamaki and learning company Sanoma. He was also co-founder and CEO of Blyk Services Oy from 2006-2011. Between 1984 and 2005, he held several senior leadership positions at Nokia and was previously Chairman of the EU Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence (AI HLEG). He acts as a mentor for many young future experts and decision makers.
Koji Tashiro is the General Manager, HERE Project Office, Mitsubishi Corporation, a role he took on after Mitsubishi and NTT jointly acquired a 30% ownership stake in HERE. Based in Japan and in his second stint at Mitsubishi, Koji previously served as Group CIO of its Machinery Group and has been in charge of promoting company-wide digital strategies since 2019.
Dr. Rainer Feurer
Dr. Rainer Feurer is Senior Vice President, Corporate Investments at the BMW Group. Since joining BMW Group in 1998 he has held various strategic planning positions and was deeply involved in the strategic set-up of the BMW Group in China. In 2019 Dr. Feurer became responsible for BMW’s equity stakes in the Joint Ventures in China, and Investments in Mobility, Energy, Digital & Professional Services companies.
Katsuichi Sonoda is Senior Vice President, Head of Strategic Business Development of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT). He previously served as Senior Vice President of NTT DATA Corporation and drove the business in the healthcare and public sector.
Dr. Neil Hunt
Neil Hunt is co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Vibrant Planet, an “eco-technology” startup, and is a co-founder of Curai, a healthcare technology startup. Prior to this, he served nearly 20 years as Chief Product Officer at Netflix. Neil is a Board Member of Logitech and Roku, as well as HERE Technologies. He also holds advisory roles with several healthtech and media startups, Scotiabank digital advisory council, and the University of Durham (UK) CS advisory board.
Axel Dewitz is vastly experienced across the automotive industry, currently holding the position of EVP and Head of Taxes, Customs & M&A at Audi Group. Prior to this, Axel was Director, Mergers & Acquisitions at Audi, as well as Director, Controlling at Volkswagen Group Italia. He has a successful track record in tax & customs management, transactions, M&A, board relations, strategy, and business development.
Adine Grate is a well-known and respected professional in the European investment community. She spent 13 years at Investor AB where she was an EVP and Executive Director on the Executive Board. Adine has extensive investment, strategy and corporate finance expertise and has been intimately involved with some of Europe’s largest M&A deals of the last 20 years. Adine has carved out a reputation as a highly effective Non-Executive Director, Committee Chair, Chair and Advisor. Her board experience ranges from large FTSE 100 companies to smaller private equity-backed businesses. She has deep domain knowledge, in particular in TMT (technology/media/telecom) and financial services. She is currently, amongst other things, Board member of G4S Plc and advisor to CKHH Holdings.
On 1st of September 2021, Magnus Östberg has taken over the overall responsibility for the MB.OS vehicle operating system as Chief Software Officer for Mercedes-Benz AG. His leading position marks the in-house development of Mercedes-Benz own vehicle architecture, centrally focusing on the customers’ needs. Prior to its role in our venture, Östberg was Vice President Software Platform & System at automotive supplier Aptiv and responsible for development and launch of the ADAS Satellite Architecture at multiple automotive manufacturers. His focus on vehicle software, infotainment and telematics was already set by various management positions at Delphi in US and in Germany.

As one of the founders of NavInfo, Patrick Cheng has experience in technology, marketing, sales and management through taking responsibility of various departments over the last 13 years.
As CEO of NavInfo since 2015, he has been pushing the globalization of the company by enhancing global partnerships and fostering extensive R&D in the fields of autonomous driving and implementing “turnkey solutions” with hardware and software for telematics.
Prior to becoming CEO, Cheng was COO of NavInfo and played a key role in re-organizing the structure of the company and shaping its new strategic position. Cheng has also previously developed and managed NavInfo’s marketing and sales operations and expanded the business to European and North American clients.

Dr. Claudius Leibfritz

Claudius Leibfritz is a member of the Board of Management of Allianz Spain and oversees business development and digitalization/data analytics in Spain. Prior to this, he was a member of the Board of Management of Allianz Partners and CEO Automotive. Claudius Leibfritz also has managed several regional groups at Allianz. Before this he spent more than ten years at Boston Consulting Group conducting various international projects. Young Sohn is Chairman of the Board of Harman International, and was formerly President and Chief Strategy Officer for Samsung Electronics, where he led development and strategy for global innovation, investment and new business creation. Young led the $8 billion acquisition of Harman International Industries.
Prior to joining Samsung Electronics, Young served as CEO of Oak Technologies, Agilent Semiconductor (now Avago) and Inphi Corporation. After graduating in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, Stephan Durach joined BMW Group in Munich in 1998. He started his career in software processes and methods and ran various departments in the Electronics division. In 2008 he became Head of the Technology Office in Palo Alto/Mountain View. Upon returning to BMW headquarters in 2011, Durach took over the department for Entertainment, Mobile Devices and App Centers before leading Electronics in the product line for luxury class BMW. He joined the Purchasing and Supplier Network division in 2015, leading the purchasing for Information and Communications electronics and ConnectedDrive. In 2015, he extended his responsibility to the complete electric/electronic portfolio with the BMW Group. From 2017 to 2020, Durach was Senior Vice President, Purchasing and Supplier Network Digital at BMW Group. Since October 2020, he has returned to the Development Department as Senior Vice President, Connected Company Development, Technical Operations.

Prof. Thomas Kropf is President of the Corporate Sector for Research and Advance engineering at Robert Bosch GmbH since July 2018.
After pursuing an academic career in computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a stint in Silicon Valley at Synopsys Inc., he joined Bosch in 1999. Thomas Kropf held different positions in microelectronics development, driver assistance and automated driving.
At Bosch Car Multimedia he was head of the business unit for Car Infotainment. Before joining Corporate Research, he was responsible for automotive systems engineering across all mobility divisions and for shaping the overall mobility technology strategy, reporting directly to the Bosch board of management.
Prof. Kropf is also adjunct professor for computer science at the University of Tübingen, Germany.

Georges Massing is the Vice President Digital Vehicle & Mobility at Daimler AG. He joined Daimler as Director User Interaction & Software for the Mercedes-Benz vehicle portfolio in 2016. Werner Köstler is a member of Continental AG’s VNI (Vehicle Networking and Information) management board and was head of the VNI strategy department from 2014 until 2020. Since mid-2020 he has been head of the VNI Key Projects organization. He joined Siemens VDO in 1992 where he headed the Chassis Electronic NAFTA, Body & Security business units for Tier-1 customers as well as the Corporate Strategy Asia Pacific in Shanghai. After the acquisition of Siemens VDO by Continental in 2007/2008, Werner Köstler took over the position as Vice President of the Interior Korea division in Seoul, after which he led the Body & Security Asian OEM division in Yokohama, Japan.

Dr. Riclef Schmidt-Clausen is Senior Vice President at CARIAD SE (Volkswagen Group) – Domain Intelligent Cockpit & Body. In this role, he is responsible for Platform & Function Development in the field of Infotainment & Body, among them Digital Assistant, Navigation, Entertainment, App Store and In-Car Apps, Mobile Key, Personalisation, as well as Mobile Apps. From 2009 to 2021, he led e.solutions GmbH, a joint venture between Elektrobit GmbH (subsidiary of Continental) and Audi Electronics Venture GmbH, which develops infotainment software solutions for the VW Group. Prior to this, Dr. Schmidt-Clausen led diverse teams at Audi AG and also worked as the Volkswagen Technical Representative in Tokyo for Audi Electric/Electronics, while completing his doctorate degree at the Technical University Darmstadt.
