HERE SDK 4.26.4.0 for iOS, Android and Flutter is a minor release for the 4.26 code line, featuring bug fixes and performance improvements based on customer feedback. There are also several exciting new features:
Added TrackingCameraBehavior.headingStabilizationThresholdInDegrees. Public setters on TrackingCameraBehavior (tilt, bearing, zoom policy) now immediately apply when called before the camera is attached, and animate to the new target afterwards, resulting in a configuration sequence run during setup which lands the camera at the configured pose on the first frame instead of animating from compiled-in defaults.
Added LocationSimulatorOptions.useDefaultSpeedWhenMissing to allow disabling the default speed on GPX track points that are missing a speed value.
Added LocationSimulatorOptions.calculateBearingWhenMissing to allow disabling bearing calculation from adjacent track points.
Added the MapInteractionDelegate protocol to support receiving notifications from map interactions.
Added the MapInteractionState enum class to describe the supported states of a map interaction.
Added the Gestures.mapInteractionDelegate property to store the current MapInteractionListener.
Added the MapImage.size : Size2D property that returns the pixel size of the image.
Added the following common Anchor2D instances for top, left, right, bottom, center and the 4 corners:
Anchor2D.center()
Anchor2D.top()
Anchor2D.topRight()
Anchor2D.right()
Anchor2D.bottomRight()
Anchor2D.bottom()
Anchor2D.bottomLeft()
Anchor2D.left()
Anchor2D.topLeft()
Added the new UIColor DataAttributes.getColor() method to get an attribute of type UIColor and DataAttributeBuilder.with(name: String, value: UIColor) to add an attribute of type UIColor.
Implemented dynamic height extrusion for building geometry (extruded & 3d landmark) depending on camera zoom and tilt.
Increased multi-color polyline color stop count limit to 16384 and color count limit increased to 1024 for the MapPolyline.SolidMultiColorRepresentation API. Additionally, the performance of this feature was improved. Note that this is a beta release of this feature.
Added MapView.setOwningScene(UIScene?) to allow setting owning scene in CarPlay for proper handling of scene activation events.
Added MapArrow.progress and MapArrow.progressColor properties to allow styling two parts of a map arrow with different colors.
Added an offlineSearch value to the SDKNativeEngine.PurgeMemoryStrategy enum. When calling purgeMemoryCaches(offlineSearch), only offline search caches will be purged, leaving map tile and routing caches intact.
Added EVChargingLocation.nearbyPlaces that represents the list of Places within walking distance from the EV charging location and EVChargingLocation.hasMoreNearbyPlaces that represents the boolean flag indicating whether there are additional nearby places beyond those included in the EVChargingLocation.nearbyPlaces list.
Offline search: Added support for PlaceFilter.ev.supplierNames and PlaceFilter.ev.connectorTypeIDs when using EV station filtering in OfflineSearchEngine .
Added support for section level notice in IndoorSectionDetails.
The OCM base version was also adapted, and starts now with OCM v.221 for RoW and 96 for Japan (MOM2 based).
