A series of enhancements and updates to the HERE Platform services are now available on our production environment. These enhancements are related to the following services:
Maps API for JavaScript, Geocoder API, Routing API, Traffic API, Public Transit API, Places API, Venue Maps API, Custom Location Extension, Custom Route Extension, Geofencing Extension API, Platform Data Extension, Route Match Extension, Toll Cost Extension and Waypoints Sequence Extension.
Summary of enhancements
Custom Route Extension support in JavaScript API.
Micro Point Addressing feature is extended to Australia and New Zealand.
Added routing inside and in between venues
Below, you can find detailed information on these major improvements of the HERE Platform for Business services:
Canvas and DOM layers enable addition of the custom rendering logic (with the help of WebGL, canvas2d or DOM) to the map.Added service-level support for the Custom Route Extension REST API.
Added service-level support for the Custom Route Extension REST API.
Support of address lines queries at a country level.
Micro Point Addressing feature is extended to Australia and New Zealand.
Australian Postal Code result have been improved for locality information.
Introduce support for returning all Shape elements (normal roads and ramps) for Flow 6.2 endpoint.
Replaced old TMC table E3336 by new ones E3339, E3340 for Turkey.
Removed the Transit Isoline endpoint
We have added routing inside and in between venues.
210 new venues added; new count: 14486.

Routing API (Version 7.2.84)
Places API (Version 2.53.0)
Custom Location Extension API (Version 2.1.5)
Custom Route Extension API (Version 2.1.5)
Geofencing Extension API (Version 2.1.5)
Platform Data Extension API (Version 1.6.14)
Route Match Extension API (Version 2.1.18)
Toll Cost Extension API (Version 2.4.13)
Waypoints Sequence Extension API (Version 3.0.2)
New incidents endpoint for Traffic API:
In May 2017, new /traffic/6.2/incidents endpoint launched to support more incidents data. The old endpoint /traffic/6.1/incidents is still available and will be supported at least for 6 months
Public Transit API refactoring:
In April 2017, Public Transit API version 3.0.0 released, following refactoring of all endpoints to a new format.
The API endpoint format has been changed from: https://transit.api.here.com/metarouter/rest/routeservice/v2/<resource> to: https://transit.api.here.com/v3/<resource>
For now, the coming releases will continue to support all deprecated endpoints (with old parameter names).
