Data Pipelines infrastructure upgrade planned for May 22, 2026
There will be a version upgrade of the infrastructure used to support logging for data pipelines between May 22 at 22:00 UTC and May 23 at 3:00 UTC. There is no anticipated impact for the user experience with data processing logs. If you notice any unexpected behavior during or shortly after this window, please contact the HERE Technical Support Team via the Support Portal: Login Here - Support Portal .
Resources endpoint change and discontinuation of support for car accounts
HERE API users of type "car" will experience changes to a specific endpoint. HERE is making this change to improve service delivery for all users and to provide the capabilities needed for future HERE platform services.
Beginning Jun 1, 2026, HERE platform users of type "car" will no longer be able to call the GET /authorization/v1.1/resourcesendpoint and receive a successful response. Users of "car" accounts will instead receive a 400 "BadRequest" error response when calling this endpoint.
If users of “car” accounts need to retrieve offline subscription resources, they should now request that information from the GET /authorization/v1.1/realm/externalResources endpoint.
We will be performing a scheduled database maintenance for the Geofencing Service from 2026-05-21 12:00 UTC to 2026-05-22 12:00 UTC as part of a required upgrade of our infrastructure. Some service degradation may occur during this window.
Data uploads / updates
During the update, we recommended that you don’t perform uploads or updates of geofences. Uploads will not be fully processed during the maintenance window. Newly uploaded data may temporarily appear or disappear depending on the availability of regional infrastructure.
All uploaded or updated data will be reliably available after the update is fully complete.
Read access
Read operations will remain available. However, customers may experience temporary errors or increased latency during the maintenance window.

By the end of May, the Routing API and Matrix Routing will have integrated Fresh Traffic Patterns for the entire globe.Benefits of Fresh Traffic Patterns
Improved ETA realism and responsiveness to real-time changes
They provide aggregated stable speed rather than frequent small speed changes (as with current Standard Patterns)
New Patterns are build including real time traffic data and offer frequent releases, often with weekly or bi-weekly builds
Increased stability facilitates further improvements, and a quicker time to market with frequent releases
Beginning in Q2 2026, the Diminished Priority Road attribute will be published in both the adas-attributes and topology-attributes layers. This is the first step of migrating the Diminished Priority Road attribute to ADAS content, which will be removed from the Topology attributes layer towards the end of 2026. Consumers are advised to migrate their applications to ADAS attributes layer to ensure continued access.
