Our certification and list inclusion are especially rewarding because the primary criteria are the opinions and feelings of HERE employees. These sentiments are captured in an anonymous, randomly distributed employee survey, conducted by the Great Places to Work Institute.
The Institute is a global research, consulting and training firm that seeks to improve society by creating better workplaces. Building benchmarks based on data representing more than 10 million employees in 50 countries in thousands of organizations across industries, the Institute believes that trust is the defining principle of a great workplace.
Trust, according to the Institute's standards, is fostered through management's creditability, respect for employees and the camaraderie co-workers enjoy. These characteristics are aptly reflected in the stories our employees tell in our "We are HERE" blog series and in many personal conversations I've had.
"Working at HERE has been an exciting journey of seven years, with cross-functional exposure and lots of learning opportunities. The open culture and transparency makes HERE a Great Place to Work." -- Randall Dias, HERE Mumbai.
The Great Places to Work certification goes beyond an honorable recognition; the assessment results can help us identify areas for improvements. And, being one of the Institute's leading employers gives us the opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded companies and individuals.
We'll be able to connect with them through conferences and networks to share experiences and learn. HERE highly values collaboration, as is evident in our Open Location Platform, and that spirit of looking at the outside in extends to fostering a fulfilling and sought-after corporate culture.
HERE is a champion of diversity, inclusion and equality, and strongly believes in not only creating great places to work, but also in giving back to the communities where we are. This designation is reflective of our core values and I congratulate HERE India.
