From software-defined vehicles to intelligent cockpits, the future of safer, more connected journeys is on full display. And HERE Technologies is right at the heart of it all.
We’re live in Las Vegas, showcasing how our location intelligence is driving the next generation of smarter, more seamless travel.
If you’re planning to visit Booth #3501 in the West Hall tomorrow, here’s a sneak peek. We’ve rounded up all the biggest news from HERE Technologies at CES 2026 right here.
One of the biggest talking points from the show floor is the expansion of our partnership with Hyundai AutoEver (HAE). Together, we’re scaling our collaboration to support more than a million Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles already on the road.
At the heart of this partnership is a simple idea: cars should feel as smart and up to date as the phones in our pockets. Today’s drivers expect navigation and in-car tech to keep up with real life, not lag behind it. That’s where the software-defined vehicle comes in.
With this expanded collaboration, vehicles running HAE’s ccNC (Connected Car Navigation Cockpit) and ccIC27 (Connected Car Integrated Cockpit) platforms will receive fresh maps and real-time location intelligence through over-the-air (OTA) updates, no garage visits required.
Why this matters to drivers: |
Always up to date: monthly updates mean new roads, updated speed limits and new places show up quickly, not ages later. |
Smart updates: better data helps deliver more engaging, responsive in-car experiences that adapt as you drive. |
Built for what’s next: HAE plans to move toward streaming navigation, using HERE’s flexible APIs to enable lane-level guidance, seamless connectivity and a clear path toward automated driving features. |
“Our partnership with Hyundai AutoEver is a testament to what’s possible when innovation meets scale,” said Deon Newman, SVP and GM for Asia Pacific at HERE Technologies. “Together, we’re redefining what navigation means for the software-defined vehicle era - making it smarter, fresher, and more connected to the world around it.” |
If you drive an EV, you’ve probably had that moment: glancing at the battery percentage and quietly doing the math in your head. Range anxiety may be fading, but only when the tech behind the wheel really has your back.
That’s why Lucid Motors has teamed up with HERE, integrating the HERE SDK into its Lucid Gravity and Air models to make EV navigation feel simpler, calmer and a lot more intuitive.
At its core, this is about confidence. Instead of just telling you where to go, Lucid’s navigation now helps you understand what’s realistically possible on a single charge and adjusts as conditions change.
Routes are planned around efficiency, remaining range and charging needs, so there’s less second-guessing and fewer surprises.
Experience the Lucid Gravity and its advanced navigation features at CES 2026 in the HERE Booth.
Here’s what that looks like in practice: |
See your true driving range: real-time isoline routing shows exactly how far you can go with your current charge, factoring in time and conditions, not optimistic estimates. |
Charging stops that make sense: fast-charging locations are built directly into route planning, with clear, useful details so you’re not hunting for a plug at the last minute. |
Extra help when it matters: the same data also supports advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and intelligent speed assistance, especially handy on unfamiliar roads. |
“It’s exciting to work with the Lucid team as they push the boundaries of EV innovation,” said Stuart Ryan, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Americas at HERE. “By leveraging the HERE SDK and ADAS data, Lucid delivers seamless navigation and ADAS capabilities that elevate the driving experience.” |
Anyone who rides motorcycles knows that using a phone for navigation isn’t ideal. Glancing down, fumbling with phone mounts, worrying about battery life can all snap you out of the ride and pull your attention off the road.
Pioneer Corporation is aiming to fix that with Pioneer Ride Connect, a new navigation experience for motorcycles powered by HERE SDK.
Instead of asking riders to juggle extra screens or bulky hardware, Pioneer Ride Connect quietly does its job in the background.
Using low-energy Bluetooth, maps and real-time updates are sent from your phone straight to the bike’s built-in display. That means less drain on your phone, fewer distractions and a cleaner setup on the bike itself.
Here’s what riders will notice: |
Navigation that goes wherever you do: with mapping coverage in more than 120 countries, Pioneer Ride Connect is built for daily commutes and cross-border adventures alike. |
Works even when the signal doesn’t: offline support keeps directions reliable in tunnels, mountain passes and remote stretches where mobile coverage can disappear. |
Designed with safety in mind: voice guidance and on-device AI help surface hazards without demanding your attention, keeping your focus on the road. |
"Pioneer’s ‘Ride Connect’ brings a smarter, safer motorcycle experience to life - and we’re proud to power it with HERE SDK,” said Newman. “Together, we’re making connected services accessible to riders across global markets, with reliable navigation and motorcycle‑optimized routing that work in dense cities to remote mountain roads. It’s a meaningful step forward for connected mobility.” |
Also making waves at CES 2026 is a new collaboration between HERE and Amazon, designed to make talking to your car as natural as talking to a passenger.
We are showcasing a new AI-powered navigation solution that integrates HERE Navigation with Amazon's Alexa Custom Assistant (ACA). This allows automakers to offer uniquely branded, conversational AI navigation experiences across all vehicle segments.
Instead of rigid commands, the system uses Alexa+’s intelligence to understand natural requests. Drivers can simply say, “Hey Assistant, navigate me to the Sphere in Las Vegas, then find me parking... Oh, and by the way, what’s showing tonight there?” The system combines conversational AI with HERE’s map data to plan the route, find parking and provide local context instantly.
“We’re excited to work with HERE Technologies to make AI-powered navigation more accessible and customizable for automakers. By combining HERE's trusted mapping expertise with Alexa+'s conversational AI capabilities, we're enabling OEMs to deliver premium, branded navigation experiences that drivers will love,” said Anes Hodzic, Vice President of Amazon Smart Vehicles.
While conversational AI handles the cabin experience, we are also working with Qualcomm Technologies to enhance what the vehicle itself can "see."
At the Qualcomm booth (West Hall #5600), we are demonstrating how HERE’s AI-powered map intelligence integrates with the Snapdragon Ride™ Pilot system. This combination is designed to support Level 2+ automated driving and urban navigation.
The demonstration highlights how map data acts as an extra sensor—providing an “e-horizon” that anticipates road features beyond the line of sight. This extended awareness improves driving predictability and enhances safety features like lane-level guidance and speed assistance.
“Qualcomm Technologies is committed to advancing automated driving through intelligent systems that combine high performance compute with rich, multisource location intelligence,” said Anshuman Saxena VP and GM, ADAS & Robotics, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “HERE’s AI-powered map data brings valuable insight that enhances what onboard sensors can see. Showcasing this capability alongside our broader ecosystem underscores how Snapdragon Ride Pilot can help automakers deliver safer, more confident and scalable automated driving experiences.”
Finally, we are thrilled to announce that HERE Technologies has once again been named the #1 location platform by Omdia.
The 2025 Omdia Location Platform Index, which evaluates the world’s foremost location technology providers including Google, TomTom and Mapbox, has placed HERE at the top based on our strategy, capabilities and market impact.
This recognition highlights our continued investment in AI, product innovation and strategic partnerships—including our recent work with AWS and the launch of the SDV Accelerator.
It’s a validation of our commitment to equipping customers with the most advanced location technology available.
“HERE continues to set the standard for location platforms,” said John Canali, Principal Analyst at Omdia. “Its bold partnership with AWS and launch of SDV Accelerator mark a turning point for software-defined vehicles, while advances in AI-powered mapmaking and global partnerships reinforce HERE’s leadership in shaping connected mobility.”
