HERE Data SDK for Java & Scala
HERE Data SDK for Java & Scala 2.80.2
The version of Scala in the platform pipeline environments and the HERE Data SDK for Java & Scala has been upgraded to Scala 2.13.
The new runtime environment for Batch 4.3 is Java 17, Scala 2.13 and Spark 3.4.4
From version 2.80.2 onwards, the HERE Data SDK for Java/Scala will only support Scala 2.13.
The Batch 4.1 run-time environment supporting Scala 2.12 is deprecated beginning December 1, 2025. Both Scala 2.12 and Scala 2.13 (Batch 4.1/4.3) will be supported between December 1, 2025, and December 1, 2026, letting you migrate to the updated versions before the end of support for the old versions.
Existing batch pipelines using the Batch 4.1 runtime environments will operate normally until December 1, 2026. During that time, the Batch 4.1 run-time environments will only receive security patches.
If necessary, you can continue developing pipelines with the Batch 4.1 environment, using the HERE Data SDK for Java/Scala 2.79.3 or older versions. However, it’s recommended to migrate to the new version as soon as possible.
As of December 1, 2026, the Batch 4.1 runtime environment will be removed and pipelines using it will be canceled. You can migrate your batch pipelines to the new Scala 2.13 to enjoy the latest functionality and improvements.
For more details, see the Migration Guide.

To ensure that your solution remains fully functional, use POST requests or limit the line length to fewer than 8,000 characters.
