Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
HERE Directions 2026 that will take place in Motorworld Munich - Kohlebunker, Am Ausbesserungswerk 4, Munich, Germany on 14-15 October 2026 (the Event) is organized by HERE Europe B.V. (Kennedyplein 222, ZT 5611 Eindhoven, The Netherlands).
The Event is a closed-door event, it is not open to the public. Participation is limited and is only possible based on registration or personal invitation by HERE.
2. Registration and Attendance
All participants must be registered. Due to the limited number of places, HERE reserves the right to decline registrations on a case-by-case basis. In the case your registration is not accepted, HERE will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable. The Event is an in-person event and remote participation is not possible.
Registration to the Event will start on the 20th of May 2026. Participants will be able to register through the link provided in the invitation sent by HERE until 7th of October 2026. Later registration may be accepted at HERE’s discretion. For that, you can contact us at events@here.com.
Substitutes from the same company are permitted, provided HERE is informed at least one week in advance. No other transfer of registration is allowed.
Registration or personal invitation by HERE allows attendance as described in the Event program.
Participants are solely responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses or other costs associated with attendance to the Event, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Special rules may apply to speakers, if decided and confirmed in writing by HERE.
3. Event Changes and Cancellation
HERE may change Event dates, venue, or content at any time for any reason by providing notice.
HERE also reserves the right to cancel the Event. In such case, HERE will inform participants as soon as reasonably practicable.
HERE, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, content, program, speakers, hosts, moderators. In the event of any such change, HERE will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable.
HERE cannot assume responsibility for costs incurred by participants (e.g., travel, accommodation) in case of changes or cancellation.
4. Access and Participation Rules
Only registered or invited participants will be admitted. Children, guests, and other unregistered individuals will not be admitted.
All participants will be given an Event badge. Misuse or counterfeiting of badges may result in removal from the Event.
Participants must comply with all reasonable instructions from HERE, as well as venue rules and regulations (including fire and safety requirements).
Participants must not bring items that pose safety risks or infringe the rights of others. Any unlawful acts may result in removal and liability.
Participants and speakers are independently responsible for arranging adequate insurance for themselves and their representatives.
5. Personal data protection
To deliver and manage your participation in the Event, HERE processes certain personal data, such as registration details and attendance records. This processing is necessary to perform these Terms & Conditions and enable your participation in the Event.
Depending on the Event setup and the options you choose, HERE may also process additional information on a voluntary basis (for example, dietary requirements, session preferences, or speaker materials). Providing such information is optional.
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the Event for documentation and communication purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please notify HERE in advance or during the Event. Photos may be used for publishing promotional and marketing materials.
Further details on how HERE processes personal data in connection with the Event, including purposes, categories of data, legal bases, recipients, retention periods, and your rights, are described in the applicable Event Privacy Notice provided during registration to the Event and which forms an integral part of the Event documentation.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
By providing content (e.g., slides, biographies, logos, or other materials) for the Event, you confirm you are authorized to provide it and that it does not infringe third-party rights. If the content includes personal data of others, you confirm it was shared in compliance with data protection law. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HERE and its Affiliates from any claim that the content you provide infringes a third-party's rights.
All intellectual property rights in Event content and materials belong to HERE, sponsors, or speakers. Distribution requires prior written approval of the rights holder.
The views and opinions expressed by speakers, sponsors, or participants are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of HERE.
7. Liability
HERE disclaims any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of information presented during the Event.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HERE and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages arising from or related to the Event, regardless of the legal basis (contract, tort, negligence, etc.), even if foreseeable.
8. Health & Safety
If any health and safety measures are introduced, HERE will inform participants accordingly.
9. Final Provisions
HERE reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. Updated versions will be published and notified promptly.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.

This Privacy Notice explains how HERE processes your personal data in connection with your registration and participation in the Event, and complements our HERE Privacy Policy.
Purpose of processing and Legal basis
When you register for and participate in the Event, HERE processes your personal data for the purposes described below.

Photos and videos taken during the event During the Event, HERE may take photographs and video recordings for event documentation and promotional purposes. Images and recordings generally focus on non-identifying crowd scenes; identifiable individuals are typically limited to speakers or participants who take part in interviews or similar activities. Data Retention
HERE retains personal data relating to the Event only for as long as necessary to manage the Event and related follow-up activities. Event-related personal data is generally retained for up to three (3) months after the Event, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required for security, compliance, or accountability purposes. Photographs and video recordings may be retained for a longer period where necessary for event promotion, archival, and preparation of future events, and are subject to periodic review. Consent records may be retained by HERE as required by law to meet accountability and audit requirements. For any marketing-related data, retention will be as described in our HERE Privacy Policy.
Sources of personal data
HERE receives personal data directly from you, for example when you register for the Event, use the event application, or voluntarily contact the Event organizing team (for example, to request a dietary accommodation).
In limited cases, HERE may also receive information from third parties involved in Event logistics.
Categories of recipients of personal data
Where necessary to support the Event, HERE may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients:
Service providers: such as providers of registration, communications, or the Event platform and application, acting on HERE’s instructions.
Event catering providers, who may receive aggregated dietary information and, in exceptional cases, limited identifying information solely to ensure correct meal service.
Other event participants, where basic business information such as your name and company is visible for networking purposes.
Authorities, where required by law to comply with legal obligations or lawful requests from competent authorities.
Other HERE affiliates: Where necessary to support Event organization and internal administrative and compliance purposes related to the Event.
HERE does not disclose personal data to third parties for purposes unrelated to the Event, and does not use it for automated decision-making with legal or similar effects. Where personal data is transferred outside your country, HERE applies the safeguards described in our HERE Privacy Policy.
