HERE Technologies and Octave partner to enhance incident response across Australia

Integration of HERE’s location intelligence into Octave OnCall to help improve dispatch times and operational efficiency.
Partnership delivers significant improvements in map accuracy, real-time data currency and response times across Australia.
HERE Technologies, the world’s leading mapping and location data company, today announced a partnership with Octave Intelligence plc (Nasdaq: OCTV), a global leader in software for the world’s mission-critical facilities and infrastructure, to deliver advanced location intelligence capabilities into Octave OnCall Dispatch, Octave’s next-generation computer-aided dispatch (CAD) solution for incident response operations.
The partnership combines Octave's dispatch and incident management expertise with HERE's industry-leading mapping data and location services to help providers respond to incidents faster, operate more efficiently and deliver improved safety outcomes for road users.
For dispatch operators, the map serves as the central interface for identifying incident locations, pinpointing available service vehicles and coordinating assistance. Having updated and accurate mapping information is imperative for quick, informed dispatch decisions, which can lead to shorter response times and operational efficiencies.
By integrating HERE’s location data into OnCall Dispatch, users gain access to continuously updated, high-quality map data and advanced location services, including search, geocoding, routing and mapping. These capabilities enable real-time dispatch decisions based on current and predictive traffic conditions, supporting faster and more accurate incident response.
“For any type of incident response, every second counts,” said Daniel Antonello, General Manager for Oceania at HERE Technologies. “By bringing our real-time, highly accurate location intelligence into OnCall Dispatch, we are transforming how incidents are identified and responded to. This helps to reduce response times, improve driver safety and enable more efficient operations at scale.”
The partnership represents a significant step change in data accuracy and freshness for incident response providers. With rapid update cycles across the road network, addresses and points of interest, organizations can operate with up-to-date location information without the need for manual map maintenance, helping streamline operations and improve service delivery.
“We’re excited to partner with HERE to offer even more to our OnCall customers,” said Chris Leaver, executive director of Australia and New Zealand, Octave. “Access to continuously updated, high-quality mapping and routing data provides organizations with increased operational visibility and precision. This translates into faster decisions, more accurate ETAs and, ultimately, a better experience for dispatchers.”
As demand for more responsive and reliable mobility services grows, the partnership between HERE and Octave sets a new benchmark for data-driven incident response and real-time dispatch across Australia.
