Berkeley, CA – HERE, the location cloud company, today announced the appointment of Kelley Steven-Waiss as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Steven-Waiss has more than 20 years of executive management experience in human resources, change management, and corporate communications, and excels in aligning people and resources to effectively execute the business strategy. She joined the company on April 15th, and is based in Silicon Valley.

“Kelley combines a down-to-earth personality with an innovative approach to human resource management to bring out the very best in people. As part of our strengthened leadership team, she will also oversee an ambitious talent acquisition program for HERE as we target growth across the business,” said Edzard Overbeek, CEO, HERE.

Prior to joining HERE, Steven-Waiss was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources for Extreme Networks, responsible for the company’s global human capital strategies. Before that she held numerous executive management, including at Integrated Device Technology (IDT) and PMC-Sierra, as well as consulting positions in large global consulting, public software and retail companies.

Steven-Waiss earned her MA in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in Journalism from the University of Arizona. She serves on the Board of Directors for FormFactor, Inc.
