Most location providers only allow service access through public clouds. This is a big concern for businesses that want to own the responsibility of data security and privacy.
When businesses require more control of their data and infrastructure environment, then uploading to a public cloud is not an option. HERE offers a variety of location services that can be hosted on your own privately controlled infrastructure, on your preferred public cloud provider, or both. We aim to meet your exact needs – whether you’re building a new solution or integrating location functionality into an existing platform.
Flexible to meet your needs
Streamline processes and ensure service availability through your preferred server and computing infrastructure.
Keep location data and services within your company and behind your firewall, and be compliant with the laws and regulations that apply to your business.
Get started with HERE Self Hosting
With the ability to integrate preferred computing infrastructures, plus be compliant with internal regulations, customers can take control of their data security.
Our self-hosting software is delivered through the HERE B2B Download Center. New software releases – including the latest map updates – are made available on a quarterly basis.
The self-hosting version requires at least one dedicated server per service. Based on customer requirements, several instances may be needed to manage availability and scalability.
On-request performance test results can be provided for capacity planning.
The customer-side Unix server management knowledge base is needed to set up and operate the self-hosting version.
