You can form teams of up to 4 people. There are no restrictions for team members, so you can team up with hackers of any function or experience level! You can also apply together as a team once you've started an individual application.

No worries! It’s helpful to have some programming or technical experience, but it is not a requirement. We’ll have mentors to help you with your project; hackathons can be great places to learn new skills in a short amount of time. Come eager to learn, excited to meet lots of awesome people and most importantly, come ready to build.

The hacking will start once you’ve arrived at the venue. However, you can register and familiarize yourself with the location data you’ll use from HERE Technologies at here.developer.com.

We will have an introductory workshop on HERE APIs and database, plus a team formation session. In addition, there will be music just to make you relax a little.

Please bring an ID so we can verify and register you on-site! You'll need a laptop, and we recommend that you bring a power strip for convenience. We realize 48 hour is a long time, so feel free to bring a pillow if you need to take a break.

If you have specific hardware in mind, bring it with you.

No, this is not a lock-in. We realize you might have other commitments during that time. However, to maximize the time allocated for hacking we encourage you to stay on site.
