    SUMMARY

     

    The role is an internal consulting position within the Sales group.  We seek a candidate who can leverage their analytic, synthesis and communication skills to derive insights and solve business issues.  In particular, this role requires the ability to combine internal data with external market dynamics to create actionable customer insights and go-to-market strategies for the sales organization.

     

    This role’s primary responsibilities are to provide sales and financial analysis (including financial modeling), project management, strategic planning, and implementation support for key sales initiatives. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Define project scope to address strategic questions and collaborate with team to develop analysis approach
    • Integrate and analyze appropriate internal and secondary data sets to understand drivers of business, develop market insights and uncover business opportunities
    • Develop and maintain forecast models that allow for scenario analysis of various strategies / approaches. Use models to evaluate and prioritize across business opportunities
    • Collaborate with the Sales Leadership team and numerous functional teams (e.g., Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Product Marketing, Internal Sales Support) to refine / evaluate findings
    • Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to senior Sales Leadership, SBD partners and broader company as appropriate

  • Education:

    • Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or similar field
    • Preferred - MBA; Consulting experience

    Experience:

    • 5-7 years of business, marketing, or consulting experience.
    • Experience with sales / marketing analytics, forecast development as well as developing & executing strategic programs
    • Working knowledge of B2B sales processes
    • Positive to have experience in working for/with technical companies/products

    Skills:

    • Exceptional analytical skills; creativity and sound business judgment in problem solving
    • Ability to strategize, plan, and execute projects seamlessly in a complex business environment
    • Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to learn to navigate and function effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
    • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills required
